Milestone Church will host its annual Prepare event from January 5–7, 2026, bringing a focused time of prayer, fasting, and evening worship services to its Argyle campus and to participants across North Texas. Prepare is intentionally scheduled at the beginning of each year as a way for the church to come together in unity, seek God first, and pray for families, workplaces, communities, and the nation.
Held simultaneously across all Milestone campuses and streamed online, Prepare features nightly speakers, live worship, and a church-wide fast. The Argyle campus, located at 1119 US-377, will offer a full in-person experience, including live worship and streaming of the message from Milestone’s Keller campus. Pre-service prayer will begin at 6:00 PM each night, followed by the main service from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The event is free to attend, open to the public, and does not require registration.
This year’s guest speakers include nationally recognized pastors and leaders. Tom Mullins, founder of Christ Fellowship Church and Place of Hope, will speak alongside Jabin Chavez, lead pastor of City Light Church and host of a popular leadership podcast. Dr. Dharius Daniels, a multi-site pastor and respected author, will also speak, known for his emphasis on purpose and spiritual growth. Each night’s message is designed to encourage, challenge, and guide participants into the new year with clarity and faith.
In addition to evening services, Milestone Church will host ten-minute online prayer sessions each day at noon, available via Milestone Live, Facebook, and YouTube. Daily devotionals will be emailed each morning of the event, providing Scripture, reflection, and a practical guide for personal prayer. Attendees at the Argyle campus will also have access to a printed Prayer Guide and will be able to participate in the campus Prayer Wall, where individuals can write and display personal prayer requests.
Prepare is centered around a three-day fast, which begins on January 5 and ends after the final service on January 7. Participants are encouraged to fast in a way that is meaningful to them—whether food, media, or other distractions—and to use the time to focus spiritually and pray intentionally. The fast is not formulaic, but rather a personal invitation to draw near to God at the start of the year.
The Argyle campus serves a growing community in southern Denton County and surrounding areas, and continues to play a key role in Milestone Church’s mission to create meaningful, accessible faith experiences across North Texas. During Prepare, the campus will be staffed by Milestone volunteers and team members who are available to welcome attendees, distribute resources, and support families. Children’s ministry will also be available during nightly services to allow parents to fully participate.
Prepare has grown in both attendance and influence over the years, with thousands of people engaging across Milestone’s four campuses—in Keller, Haslet, McKinney, and Argyle—as well as through online platforms. Many attendees describe it as a pivotal moment that helps them set priorities, clarify their direction, and align their hearts for what lies ahead. For families and individuals alike, it has become an annual tradition of reflection, connection, and spiritual renewal.
Through worship, fasting, and prayer, Milestone Church encourages the Argyle community to begin 2026 with intention. Each element of Prepare is designed to help participants create space to hear from God and begin the year with renewed focus and faith.
